(Suggested title Bangobhandho Mujib: His dual Policy on Liberation War in 1971

Purpose of the book, “ Bangobhandho Mujibur Rahman: His dual policy on Liberation war in 1971. “ – a suggested title of my projected research - is to try to honestly analysis facts related to the series of  nationalist struggles and the liberation war of 1971, in a way to help political historians.

The ‘Great Man theory’ is a 19th-century idea according to which history can be largely explained by the impact of "great men", or heroes; highly influential individuals who, due to either of their personal charisma, intelligence, wisdom, or political skill exercised their power in a way that had a decisive historical impact. Most in the philosophy of history school contend that the motive forces in history can best be described only with a wider lens than the one that Carlyle used for his portraits. For example, Karl Marx argued that history was determined by the massive social forces at play in "class struggles", not by the individuals by whom these forces are played out. After Marx, Herbert Spencer argued, ...before the ‘Great Man’ can remake his society, rather his society must make him.

There are some myth and misty stories regarding the motives & role of Bongobandho during the month of March, 1971; 2- the UDI before the 25th March, 1971; 3- roles of Taj Uddin Ahmed, the role of India and others, the role of Mujib Baheeny; the role of senior Awami League leaders. . Many intellectuals and activists have narrated some stories, and tried to explain few facts in their typical views which did not produce authentic and convincing knowledge.

The world community, more importantly the Indian sub-continental people, should have clear and thorough understanding on such vital topics
